GENERAL QUESTIONS
Put simply, an automatic watch does not require a battery in order to function. Whereas, a quartz watch requires a battery. In more technical terms, a mechanical watch operates using power obtained from a mainspring. The mainspring receives the energy and gets wound with the motion of the wrist thanks to a weighted rotor.
Yes. However, when the watch is fully stopped, manually turn the crown clockwise to wind up the mainspring and as soon as the watch starts, put it on your wrist so the remainder of energy comes from the natural movement of the wrist. In order to maintain the accuracy of the watch, we recommend wearing it at least 8 hours a day. The more you wear your watch, the less a manual intervention is needed.
Step1: Make sure the hour and minute hands are not within 3 hours of midnight in order to not interfere with the automatic date change mechanism. To be safe, move them away by setting the time at 6:30.
Step2: With crown out to position 1, set the date to yesterday's date.
Step3: Wait until the second hand reaches 12 and then pull the crown out to the last position. The second hand will stop thanks to the hacking mechanism. Then rotate the crown counter-clockwise until the date shows the current date.
Step4: At this stage, the time is approximately 12 AM. Keep rotating the crown counter-clockwise to reach the correct time paying attention to AM and PM.
Tip: You can use an accurate time source such as time.gov to set your time.

We ship worldwide with the exception of countries that are sanctioned by the US Department of Treasury.
Once your order is confirmed and shipped, you will receive a tracking number in your email. We ship with the common trusted parcel companies such as UPS, FedEx and DHL.
Yes. We offer free worldwide shipping on all of our watches. For other items, the total order should be equal or above $100.
No. For orders outside of the US, the customer will be responsible for paying the Customs duties directly to the parcel carrier. Please be informed that all shipments to countries outside of US are subject to taxes and duties by the destination's government.
RETURN AND REFUND
Please send an email to hesili@hesiliny.com and request a return. We will then issue a return lable, so you can send your package back free of charge. You can track your return using the tracking number provided on the return label. We will also email you once we receive your return and when it is approved or rejected.

WARRANTY
Yes. All timepieces are covered under warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase.
The movement, hands and dial are covered during the warranty period and if proven to be defective in material or workmanship, will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
Damage due to water, misuse or neglect. Damage to the strap and its buckle, the sapphire crystal, and the crown.
SERVICE AND REPAIR
We are currently too small of an organization to be able to offer in-house repair services. However, you can take your watch to any watchmaker or to your local watch repair shop and we will cover the costs, should the repair be needed within the 1 year of warranty period.
